ABOUT

Welcome to Winnefred Austin

OUR STORY

Pull up a seat, pour something good in your favorite cup. We're happy to have you in this little corner of the world.

Winnefred Austin is an heirloom gifts and lifestyle company. We create to equip and encourage others with eyes fixed on Jesus; our pioneer, author, and perfecter of faith.

I’m Ashley Gossett — artist, writer, designer, curator, owner. Winnefred was my many generations past British granny with a story all her own. She was a London lady turned American pioneer! Today, we capture her pioneer spirit with a nod to practicality, a touch of old-fashioned whim, and a timeless style to carry every day.

OUR MISSION

We love a good story behind a name, so we were excited to discover Winnefred means joy and peace. It took us to Isaiah 55:12 — “you will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.”

We hope you’ll find joy and peace to fill your cup here as you go out into your corner of the world. We’re grateful for our products to be invited into your everyday. As you live your own story, pour into your calling, and love on your people, may the joy and peace of the Lord be with you.

OUR PRODUCTS

We are passionate about making products that are not only timelessly beautiful, but have deep faith roots and heirloom nostalgia too. Every product we make has been in our hands before it is sent to you. We take careful consideration of quality, color, style, content, and production. All of our paper goods are made here in the US and packaged in our Nashville studio.

There’s something special about making things that feel like they’ve been in the family forever with that sweet nostalgic sigh. A wedding photograph, great-granny's mixing bowls, a passed-down crochet angel, the smell of Christmas morning cinnamon rolls. All those things and more stir memories deep within us; feelings we want to capture in the products we make and curate. And maybe, just maybe, you’ll pass it down to your great-grand kiddos someday too!
