JOYFUL HEART BLESSINGS 21

"Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the reign of King Herod. About that time some wise men from eastern lands arrived in Jerusalem asking, “Where is this newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose, and we have come to worship him." -Matthew 2:1-2 NLT

Where is this newborn king? On a busy Saturday with all the last minute gift shopping and wrapping and baking - let's take a moment and ask this same question. Would we pause from the merriment and look to Jesus, our King who came to us as a baby so we could always be where He is. 

Let's pray together.

Dear Jesus,

You are worthy of every praise. Would every celebration this season point to You and all You've done for us. Like the wise men, would I set aside my own plans and agendas to fully seek and worship You with an open heart. 

Amen.

Blessing for little ones

Jesus, You came to us a baby so small, and gave Your life to save us all. I pray I would seek You like the wise men, and keep You in my heart as my Savior and friend! Amen.
