ENNEAGARDEN

Welcome to Enneagarden Art Print Collection. You asked for enneagram & we answered with fruit & flowers! This enneagram series focuses on each type’s core desire rooted in God’s Word with seeds of encouragement.

Enneagram + Garden = Enneagarden

Whether you’re new to the enneagram or a guru on all things 1-9, you belong here. Let’s grow in grace & knowledge together with this tool that plants seeds of awakening for the soul. Looking at the enneagram with a faith lens not only helps us grow closer to ourselves and one another, but to our Maker who gardens us to become more like Him.

We all need to be reminded of who we are in the Lord. His promises never change, but different enneagram types need to hear them in different ways. For each of the following numbers, a Bible verse and words of encouragement are offered to each enneagram type. Roll up your sleeves & grab your gardening tools. Let’s get started.

01 – THE PERFECTIONIST

Core Desire: to be good, right, ethical, true

Fix your eyes on what is true, right, honorable, lovely, admirable. Think about things that are excellent & worthy of praise. Philippians 4:8

You are made perfectly whole in the Lord – fix your thoughts on Him. Your goodness does not hinge on perfection, but every good & perfect gift comes from above. You are free from striving & can rest in God’s abundant grace.

02 – THE HELPER

Core Desire: to be loved, needed, wanted

You are precious to me. You are honored & I love you. Isaiah 43:4

You are loved by God, who loves freely and abundantly. You are wanted for being you – – exactly who He created you to be. All help and care for others aside, your needs matter equally & unashamedly. You are free to give without expectation of returned favors because Christ gives freely for you to receive with open hands.

03 – THE PERFORMER

Core Desire: to be successful & valued by others

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And it is not by your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works. Ephesians 2:8-9

You are loved for who you are, & not what you do. Living to the praise of God’s glory means His name is above everything. Your value does not rest in your success, but in eternal inheritance in Jesus Christ. That is a promise no failure can take away because His mercy is new everyday as sure as the sunrise.

04 – THE ROMANTIC

Core Desire: to be unique and known for who they are

He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy & growing & full of love. Ephesians 4:16

You are seen and known for who you are. You are fearfully & wonderfully made by God who created you uniquely in His image. You are part of the body of Christ with special work only you can do. He chose you; He will equip & lead you. Press on to acknowledge Him in everything!

05 – THE INVESTIGATOR

Core Desire: to be capable, not being a problem

Your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. Matthew 6:8

You have needs & feelings that matter today. Let them rise to the surface with openness & grace. Challenge yourself to live in a posture of abundance instead of scarcity. Your capability comes from God alone. Let go of control and let God lead. He gives more abundantly than you can imagine!

06 – THE LOYALIST

Core Desire: to be safe, secure, & supported

In peace I will lie down & sleep, for You alone, Lord, will keep me safe. Psalm 4:8

You are safe. Give your worries to Jesus & let your fear melt into faith. Your identity rests in God alone, who leaves 99 sheep to bring 1 sheep home. God is on your side, & nothing can separate you from His love – – not even fears today or worries tomorrow. He is working for His glory & your good.

07 – THE ENTHUSIAST

Core Desire: to be fulfilled

Lord, You are everything I need. Psalm 119:57

You are sustained by God’s provision & grace. He is your source of satisfaction & gives you everything you need. He is the same through every joy & pain. There is nothing He can’t heal; no suffering He can’t overcome. He already overcame the cross for you and me! Dwell in His presence and let His provision sink deep into your bones. He is more than enough, so you are enough too.

08 – THE CHALLENGER

Core Desire: to protect and be protected

He will be with you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you. -Deuteronomy 31:8

You are free to trust others without fear of betrayal. You are made for community and a life full of engagement, which comes with letting vulnerability have a seat at the table. Christ’s most vulnerable moments were displayed on the cross, but the cross also revealed God’s glory. Even though we don’t deserve it, Christ invites us to sit at the table with Him. His glory shines through your true self. He will never fail nor abandon because he loves you as you are. The opposites of faith are control & stubbornness. Let go & let God be your strength and shield.

09 – THE PEACEMAKER

Core Desire: to be at peace & in harmony with self & others

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you. -Isaiah 26:3

You are invited to come as you are. Your presence is a true joy to be had! Your voice is worthy of being heard! Fix your eyes on Jesus; He is your perfect peace regardless of circumstance. The Holy Spirit lives inside you & beckons you to press into the life God is calling you to live. Every morning you wake with this opportunity & there is no time like today to say yes.

All Bible verses were selected through thoughtful research & prayer, but they are in no means the best or only verses for each number. There are countless other Bible verses that speak to every enneagram type, so expanding your enneagarden of verses is much encouraged.
